GOMES team takes home 2 podium finishes ..!!!
Josh takes home his first win of the year with a last lap pass on Jarret Kelly for what turned out to be a top 1 and 3 finish for the Gomes team.
Proving he can dash for more than 6 laps or so Shane again proved he has more than enough skill to turn the fast laps needed to shadow his team mate..... and with class at that!! Again Numbers don't lie.. Josh and Shane proved lap after lap they have what it takes to run in the front...
Special thanks to Aunt Cindy for making the long drive to watch Shane race.
This video is up to defend Shane from what some think was a hard cut down. You be the judge for yourself. Again this site is not up here to bash anyone but when accusations fly we will defend. Click on linke below
What is Minicup Racing?
Minicup race cars are 1/2 scale versions of NASCAR race cars designed for kids as young as 8 years old. They are built with full protective roll cages just like the big cars and have fully adjustable suspension that many professional racers say respond like a late model stock car. Power is provided by a rear-mounted 13 horse power Honda engine which is easy to maintain. Additional safety equipment included are a five-point racing seat belt system, racing seat, safety fuel cell, and racing helmet, suit and shoes which make minicup cars the safest form of youth racing available. The kids are required to use a smaller carburetor resulting in slower speeds but they still put on quite a show for the fans.
